This data mainly relies on a report from the KDHS (Kenya Demographic and Health Survey). Many women seemingly use contraceptives quietly since their husbands condemn the exercise. The Treasury CS said that the bodies in charge of implementing and actualizing family planning projects in the country should engage spouses and inform them of the importance of joint decision-making in such matters. The report however stated that the proportion of women who leave the decision upon their husbands is somehow too high than it should be.
